Searching in the Woods

When the book was taken by demons, Shade and Lucy go out to the woods outside of town to look for them. Shade didn't want Lucy to come, but there was no arguing with her when she's made up her mind. Shade was posed to transform at anytime. They were about to turn back when they heard a snap of a branch behind them. 
Lucy whispered "Did you hear that?"
